Custom MGS: M-135 WUT Truck

The Lightyear Hyperspeed series has a line of ground vehicles. One of them is this sci-fi looking Star Command Emergency Vehicle.

With a darker paintjob, it looks like something out of Aliens. It’s also perfect candidate to be the Empire’s version of the Deuce.

Before and after

M-135 WUT (Wheeled Utility Transport)

Type: Utility carrier (wheeled)

Affiliation: Galactic Empire

Manufacturer: Trast Heavy Transports

Capacity: 1 driver, 5 passengers (cab), 20-30 additional passengers in the rear (depending on configuration).

The M-135 was an Imperial Army utility truck found throughout the Empire. It was used in backwater worlds that didn’t have the infrastructure to support repulsorlift vehicles.

It had many functions, including cargo truck, troop transport, prison van, ambulance and garbage hauler. In desert worlds like Tatooine, it was also used to torture rebels and criminals by leaving the truck in the sun with the AC and life support turned off.

The cab has ample room for 6 passengers

“Why can’t we just ride Skywalker’s speeder to the impound lot instead of all this effort?”

“Shut up Gary.”

It was more commonly known as the WUT, and a popular joke among stormtroopers was “You want me to ride in WUT now??

For larger cargo that don’t fit the WUT or AT-ACT, the Empire also had the MUTT:

Massive Utility Transport 😂

Where to Buy

This vehicle is part of Mattel’s Lightyear Hyperspeed line, which is similar in scale to MGS (thought the figures are bigger).

“I told you those were the droids we were looking for.”

“Shut up Gary.”
